ok folks, unless anyone gets a score to be tomorrow before noon here are the playoff brackets congrats to Haggerty (8-0) and Jay (6-0) for going undefeated in the regular season. Of course if they had played more than 50% of their games they might have a loss, but lets not split hairs!!
congrats to Steve Karjanis- only guy to play all 16 matches!!

Hi,

I was hoping you could provide another PSA.

It’s great that we have a large racquetball group here in Orange.  I realize that most of you play in the morning, some starting at 5AM.  There was a change in the club hours last November and LA Fitness reduced the club hours 1 full hour for each day during the work week.  Many of us who work out in the evening complained and corporate said they would return to normal hours in the spring.  It doesn’t look like they are going to change back.  I’m asking all of you to call corporate and complain.  They are taking something away from us that none of us signed up for.  Maybe next year they will take away the 5AM-6AM hour (I know not likely but you understand).
Please tell all the members to call corporate to change the hours back or Orange:

We have enough members to support these hours.  There are atleast 50-60 still there at 9:30 PM and people still trying to walk in to work out.  Closing the gym at 9PM on a Friday is not a great option for a parent who goes to the gym after they put their kids to bed at 8PM…

The New York State Racquetball Association has posted their 2007-2008 calendar of events.  I meant to post this sooner but it completely slipped my mind.  Unfortunately,  about  half the events have already  finished.  Still, you should check out their racquetball calendar (PDF) if you are interested.

The NY State singles tournament in Albany, NY is a good one to attending (march 14th - March 16th)
